I am working on 2008 dodge caravan, replacing the win module, it comes with two keys and I am using the ds708 I checked the old win module, had no problem getting into that system but with the new win its says unknown control unit variant... it strikes me odd I had no problems with the old win module but I can't even communicate with the new one. Can the ds708 reprogram the win module and the key fobs. -

ok just verified with a friend of mine who is a shop manager at a local chrysler dealer after he spoked with a few techs at a couple of dealers they all said there are a lot of bad modules out there they call them dud modules so this clears it up after we get the option of win replaced and pcm replace added to our software everything will be ok cheers. -

ok today I replaced another win module on a 2008 dodge magnum, this module was ok it came with the software and to my surprise the option of win replace was already in our software, but its call wcm replace for some vehicles, witech calls it win replace. also noticed other options as well gateway replace,pcm replace , this tool keeps getting better by the day great job autel and thank you a million. -

I just saw this thread. Is the option on maxidas DS708 as well? -

Yes it is but I noticed on certain vehicles it was not available, and neither was pinion
factor for transmission but they are working on it I was told. -
