Also for security reasons and with some new Opel cars you have to press the break to start the car. No chance to fool such a system with a MaxiDas.

 this function is possible on many vehicles  with factory remote start capability  even if you will normally have to press the brake to do so it is still possible to to with the tool but not on all vehicles this is for usa models i know nothing on european though  now by just having a bcm in the vehicle with crank/run option is not enough it needs to have remote start available and enable hope this helps you in some way good luck.
