    Hello everyone! I don't see the VW immobilizer pin read function on my Maxisys. I had a DS708 before and I sold it, I remember it had that function. I'm just wondering what happened to it. I love my Maxisys, but seems like it is missing some stuff DS708 had before. 
    Any comments will be appreciated, thank you!

     Updated Maxisys and seems like now it has the immobilizer "read password" feature for VW vehicles. Thanks Autel!

    Have you used it for addaption yet? I have a 02 gti replaceing ign.switch in and need to
    know if the password is the skc. If so I only have 5#s from what I've seen you should
    have 4 or 7#s . Should I use the existing # or should I use the new 7pin # supplied with
    new key. Been reading dealer,dealer, but from what I've seen not until 05. It's gen 3
    system, and also seperate module (not in inst.cluster).

       I have only done few VW keys on older models and I have used SBB programmer, it is easier with SBB, first you read PIN/Pasword then you do the  key adaptation. I have read PIN with Maxisys but haven't tried to to a key adaptation with it yet.

     I see this is a pretty old post, but i'm wondering if you've been able to do adaptations with the maxisys yet? my ms905 is on a UPS truck right now. and the maxisys elite at work wasn't able to do it (brand new a few weeks ago) and if somebody that is able to read SKC (passcode) can tell me which software edition theirs is running? thanks

    Hi, kindly be noted that there is a new update to read PIN code of VW 3rd and 3.5 generation on Maxisys and Maxisys Pro / Elite within the third quarter. Thanks!
