can we do reset, relearn or adaptation on sprinter when replacing fuel filter and air filter

     it seems like when replacing and fuel filter and air filter on sprinter we need to reset thoses beacause pcm will compensate the mass air flow when air filter is clog! is this true?

     have you any fault codes, have had a few with offside air drift fault code, it turned out to be a cracked inter cooler on left side where plastic part joins the metal part
