can I update the transmission software. with maxisys pro?

Yes, you can update the ecu with just the J2534 and subscribe to https://www.bmwtechinfo.com/ and do a one day or 30 dollars. You will be using BMW server, software and the J2534 module to flash the transmission. The Maxisys does not have the flash updates on the Autel server yet and they only got GM so far. Hopefully they will get other makes online soon. -

I was under the impression ista p is in our tool the maxisys, i have the isid/icom kit with ista p version 50 i beleive, off line and in expert mode which i have used a few times, i have compared the maxisys with my isid and it does the same thing only way faster but then again i don't know much about bmw/minis to know what gets coded/program or what gets flashed but i have never had the need to go on line and i have replaced a couple of dme,egs,ews,abs and coded all modules on the car as well just to see what the maxisys does, but again don't know much about this cars ifsome one can explain i will apreciate it. -

Hello.Yes, you can. MaxiSys Pro BMW V3.00+ software can support users to update the transmission software on BMW 735li 2004.Here is the testing path for you:
