purchased a autel ms509 went to register it and cant find reg #. there are no numbers on back case or in tool info. burn date is empty and serial number has a bunch of gibberish. ( K' ''' =B<<). when purchased it was in a Autel box that was sealed. paid around $80. can you tell me what is wrong with it? won't connect to pc. off on button don't work. -

Best, return to seller to get money back.
As the 509 is as "out of date" product I assume you got a fake.
But, the MS509 does not need to be registered.
You can try to put the battery out for 10 minutes, connect to PC and power on to see if this "power less" situation solves the issue.
But as written, return as "dead on delivery" is my suggestion.
