Yes it will make sure the pcm is used not new where it needs to be flashed which is not
possible with the 708, also before installing the replacement pcm disconnect the skim/
wcm to avoid having to use a pin code later to program the keys. Then connect the
pcm go to engine/diagnostic/miscfuntion vin read and change vin number turn key off
now connect your skim/wcm back and start vehicle. Don't do it anyother way as the
transfer of the secret key may fail. Also make sure to get the correct pcm for this
vehicle it has to be exact since it can't be flash in other words if your vehicle is
automatic or stick shift or turbo the replacement has to be almost identical or certain
function may not work. If you get a new pcm then it will have to be flash with eithe a
passthru or the witech on line. Good luck.
