Ford evap system test not working

     tried the evap system test on a 2005 f150 and it does the first step of the test and exits out. cold soak time in spec and fuel level good. need to get this working!

     Is engine at operating temp? Will also exit out if any cmp,or ckp codes in system,and also if battery voltage low.ihave used mine on2005 f150 few weeks ago and worked on my maxisys

    Yes in order to run the service bay test you must meet the following criteria

    Engine at a steady idle no loads, fuel level between 15% and 85%, ambient temperature
    between 40 and 100 degrees some vehicle 86 maximun, no trouble codes of any kind
    present or history. Other evap test does not require to meet this criteria like purge
    solenoid on -off, vent solenoid on-off, purge and seal. If you met all of this then data
    log it to autel or send complaint they will fix it on the next release good luck.
