Limited Mode / Unknown Control Unit Variant on BMW 320i

     Hi There.  Hopefully you can help.

    While running diagnostics on a 2010 BMW 320i, the unit reports the following faults:

    CCC-A Applications - Limited mode. Unknown Control Unit Variant

    and in the Autoscan option

    CCC-A Applications - Pass | No Fault (i)

    I am unsure if this implies there is an issue with the unit OR if that the Maxidiag Elite simply does not recognise the BMW CCC unit. (but there is no actual fault)

    would appreciate if someone could clarify

     Thanks ede. 

    Autoscan was run and came up with the "no fault(!)" Response for "ccc-a applications"

    So I'd like to know if this means it found an error OR out just doesn't recognise that model bmw.  All other modules appear to autoscan fine
