DS708 2000 Nissan Pathfinder key programming

Will the DS708 program keys for a 2000 Nissan Pathfinder? Newbie to the DS708, so if someone could point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated.Steve -

I have gone to nats system, c/u initialization, it doesn't ask for a code, but I do the c/u initialization, it says "Initialization complete according to operation manual. Perform key registration". At this point I insert a new key and it appears to work, but I can only program one key. If I try to program another, it erases the last key I programmed. I believe there is a 5 key limit to this vehicle, could this have something to do with only being able to register one key, or am I missing something? -

After PIN code is accepted C/U initialization is started: turn key ON with first key to be programmed for few seconds, then turn key OFF; insert second key to be programmed and turn key ON for few seconds then turn key OFF; now insert the first key again and turn key ON to close C/U initialization, it should take both keys now. -

That did it! BTW, the 2000 model year Pathfinder doesn't have a PIN, according to my locksmith, and it never asked for one, but the procedure outlined above, sans the PIN part worked perfectly. Locksmith's machine broke so he could make the keys for me, but he couldn't program them. -

Yes it has a pin 5523, but the tool does it automaticly on this vehicle, had you used a
consult 3 the code will have to be input, another good feature on autel's tool.
