Hi all,

I've had the AL439 for almost a month and haven't used the Circuit Test because it always seemed weird. Putting it on resistance and touching the pins together  or anything else never did anything. Always 00.0V on Auto or manual.

Now, when manually moving from auto to resistance there is always a lot of beeping and it won't shut-up and the screen flashes from 0.0 ohms to OL back and forth. The only way to quiet it was separating the leads and not touching either of them. Sometimes that works.

Any suggestions? There was one reply that suggested taking the battery out and putting it back in, but that was for another issue to reset it. Would that work? Would it void the warranty? Any other suggestions?
