Do you have a currently updated version of the MaxiDas? I understand you just bought it?

Personally I have a maxidas besides my maxisys and for peugeot I am using the maxidas still in certain occasions. Think Something does go wrong with either your maxidas or with the way you have selected the car(s).

Please let us know what exactly goes wrong; if possible in other words than "load of rubbish" etc., we are here (as users and fellow car techs) to help each other in a descent manner ;) Thnx mate.

     Hello Sameer,

    Some things to check.
Get Car in IOEO state (ingition on engine off) to wake up all computers.
Try a EOBD scan first to see if that computer answers.
Once this is OK and may be show you some errors you can try to use the car specific software for detailed scans.

If the car does NOT respond on EOBD this might indicate a broken computer or bus connection.
On old DS708 there are reports that the connection cable can break. A 15 PIN Joystick extension from a local computer shop can be used.

Does it do auto detect VIN? if not, try accessing it by manually adding VIN number. Might be it is asking for a build code too? You should be able to find that on a sticker in the door post or in the engine area. Completely stupid system since a lot of stickers are 'gone' already.

Peugeot is always a trick to get the right ECU selected before you can do anything (else it will come up with 'no communication').

I already pushed on Autel too get the auto recognition fixed, it is not true that it cannot be done since Bosch, Delphi and others can connect to the system automatically also so Autel has to get it done too. Especially on Peugeot, citroen and renault since they tend to make a mess out of their car's (electronic wise) and change systems more times then any other manufacturer.
