I recently checked MB C200 2014, I extract 3 km reading from 3 different ECM and all were ok but abs module had a permanent fault code which was (one or more signals sent from control unit "A1 Instrument Cluster" via the CAN bus is implausible) this fault code means ABS ECM cannot read the data from Inst. Cluster and appears when the mileage is changed, ABS ECM was also unable to read ABS mileage... be aware of this

If you do auto detect (car ignition on or even running), the Pro can't find it? If not, it will ask you to manually enter the data. If you do so, won't it decode the right vechicle for you?

In my experience (so far) I always got the right version right after entering the vin when a auto detect failed.

Think this is the correct one:

Think maxtronix is right about your car info.
For your transmission I cannot tell you exact what is wrong with it, but I tell you to
check 3 things that cause jolt in gears, 1- check your gearbox suspension, 2- check
your propeller shaft, it hasn't to be shimmy, 3- check your disk for each gear
These three issues cannot be identified via diagnostic tool, it's experimental
    Good luck
