The Maxi Sys coding capabilities are listed as advanced , where a DS 708 coding is listed as minimal .
Being at The SAme update levels, Without the J2534 Programmer , Other than a MS 905 or MS908 being faster, with WIFI bigger screen than DS708. Does the Mini or Maxi provide  any extra useful  Bi directional controls and coding than a DS 708 without whipping out the J2534 programmer interface in order to achieve superiority over the DS708 in Bi Directional Controls and available coding?
Example : With out the J2534 programmer you can still adjust the top speed limiter on a 2011 ------ model with a Maxi but with a DS 708 at the same update level the capability is not there.

With 905 or 908 without J2534 you can do coding & programming, for example in a BMW. Beside the features, Autel will be stopping the manufacturing of DS708 at the end of this here and updates will be available only to 2020.

Best to have Autel answering that. Little people will use their maxidas in lot's of ways if they have a maxisys too.

Found that service reset on an Opel Astra G 1999 was possible with old system MaxiDas and NOT with the SYS!!! (might be the old date of the softw. on maxidas saved me however). Don't know or sys has more functions, but I do know it is a lot and with so much data to go through speed is key.

Do you try to go by another model and/or year to reset the service?

I know that Maxisys is much better that Maxidas. But sometimes with multi-brand software and even with OEM software, with the new updates, it's normal that some functions stop working.

The Maxi Sys is the superior tool, boots in half the time of a DS 708, lots of added  features but now that the 908  hype has subsided somewhat
Now I would actually like to see a no BS side by side video comparison on of the 2 tools menu (same update level)in  Bi directional controls, special functions, resets, etc on 2 identical vehicles that proves The MS908  outshines a  DS708 in those areas, not just Dazzling  technical advances in tablet scanner technology.

Not saying the MaxiDas is the better choice; I hardly use my maxidas anymore, and the sys all the time.

The function on the Astra is available in the MaxiSys, but at selection it says it cannot connect or module not ready or something like that. Same function in MaxiDas; no problemo. Just saying. Already notified Autel on it too but they tend not to respond to any which ever problem you present to them lately due to a lack of personal as they say. Will be fixed I guess and hope (amount of personal)
