DS708 "mode 6" in OBDII mode only reports cylinder misfire data for 6 of total 8 cylinders for my 2003 Ford Expedition. No mode 6 data is available when selecting Ford instead of OBDII. Does anyone know if this is a software issue, or my misuse (the latter I hope). Thx.

Does mode 6 misfire count report all cylinders on any cars for anyone out there?

I may have figured it out; cylinders 1 (#5301) -> 6 (#5306) in OBDII On-Board Monitor Diagnostic mode-6 include text "Misfire Rate Type A". There are also #5307 and #5308, but these are not accompanied by any text. Reference number (which I read as max value) for #5301->#5306 is also lower than $5307 and #5308, but the reason may be that #5307 and #5308 run with higher misfires for some design reason (location in engine??). Anyway, I'll check #5308 condition and likely swap out coil pack first as that I hear is usually the problem.
