i can retrieve generic codes but cant access any modules. whats goin on here

just bought this. i downloaded the 2 files on the disk and all the updates i can find on ur site. i can not acess modules on my car. do i need to buy more software or what -

You have to be more specific. What tool U have? What you have download? -

updates on the site?
indeed not sure which tool you are using; maxidas or maxisys? Just do updates with the tool itself from the update menu but you should already be able to access modules as well as obd standard readouts (don't know how old this car is and what car we are talking about?)
