     I just bought the MaxiDas DS708.  Update went fine.  Trying to setup the TS401.  Used the CD on the computer, but when I connect the TS401 to the Maxilink via the usb port, Maxilink does not recognize that the device is connected so can't update. 

    How do I get past this?

    Please help!

     Does your PC see a USB device when you attach the TS401  to the USB port?  If not have you tried another USB cable or another USB port on the PC to eliminate either as a cause?  If you have Windows 8 , is the Max link program compatible with windows 8 . Did you trouble shoot and try to run the Max Link  in Compatibility Mode?

     There is nothing wrong with my USB ports. My computer acknowledges that a device has been added, but MaxiLink does not.  I do have Windows  8, my disc said up to Windows 7, but wasn't sure if it would automatically configure. How do I run Max Link in compatibility mode?

    Try to run in compatible mode Windows 7. I have update a TS501 and TS601 several times

     Can you tell me how I can run it in windows 7 compatibility mode?  This is something unfamiliar to me.  Sorry!

     Uninstall Maxilink 2.

    Copy and paste this link to do disable driver enforcement signature.

    Reinstall Maxilink 2.

    Then try again.
