    this is more of a post for support,been looking at a 2006 beemer 520d with a smooth running fault code which did have a misfire at higher rpm I could not find the fault so it went to another shop with genuine bmw software they were able to do a smooth running test which thru up some faults, I did not find this test in the maxisys did I miss it,if not is it possible that you can add this feature

     On this model you need to check the inlet manifold flaps they do brake and cause misfiring  at high RPM..................

    Regarding the Smooth Running Test can you confirm with other workshop what option did they use to find the fault so support team can know where and what to add in new updates...............

    By the way what fault did they find............?

      Some car shop, take off the inlet manifold flaps and put there some simulators (I think it's some resistance). 

    That way it does't show any DTC.

     cracking job to see the reply's the swirl flaps were sticking and when they done the smooth running test it thru up injector faults which I had already tested and advised on but wanted to be sure  I will try and do a data log Monday thanks again
