    Hi some help please.
After programing my car with Maxisys Pro message DME: ews preventing manipulation shows up. Now car crunks but not start.
Diagnosis show me the presence of the message only on DME Page, but I cannot reset with this machine.

    Some help please?

Hi have you replaced either of this modules? If you did were they new or used. Can you
tell us more, like the reason why you program this modules in the first place.

    Hi,
I didn't replace any modules, what I did was:
Went to Programing follow up routine page
    And then I selected all
At the end I had 3 faults:

    Driver seat calibration
    Tire pressure monitoting fault
    DME EWS preventing manipulation

wow that is a strange one. did you try the sync/aligment of the ews and dme to see if this issue goes away,  I know is not ews and cas or it wouldn't crank, but align cas anyway just in case. I have done it with ista after replacing either module but never with the maxi-sys  after an update, also try to code again the ews, dme, cas  see what happens maybe something got corrupted. lets see what other members and support can add to this issue. I wouldn't think updating modules could cause this problem, I have done a few  successfully though. we have a few members here that work on this vehicles way more than I do  and have a lot more experience  and can better help you  figure it out. check back soon good luck.

Hi, can you please upload a data log from your device for our engineers to check the problem? Thanks!

On the late models when do update programming always I-level in that group,
When programming DME alignment EWS is required if skip that it will not start,

I sent the car to dealer and they fixed the problem, they said only updated the software
of the car didn't change any parts. Very strange

All you have to do is to delete the interface between CAS and DME and then you will get all modules working fine together
