how to reprogram replament ecu on 2002 vw passat

     new on this forum, 
    have to replace ecu on 2002 volkswagen passat. 
    but security light coming on with incorect key.

     Before you can go any future you will need a Security Pin Code from both ECU............from your Original Car ECU and from the replacement ECU Security Pin Code...........Do you have them...............?

     If it's ECU ENGINE, you only have to go do BASIC SETTINGS, CHANNEL 0, and do a factory reset.

      i think you will find that is with older VAG cars. and you will still need the pin code.
