     is the maxisys 908 capable of programming Nissan keys? rarely work on Nissan,had a 2004 murano needing a key but don't seem to understand how to do it.thanks

     Hello,

    For programming keys, Go to NATS. Then C/U Initilization. You will need 4 digit pin which is from dealer or locksmith. We cannot read the pin.

     Just to let you know the other day I was working on Qashqai 2009 and I just tried to look in to Nats System and MaxisysPro could read the Pin Code on this vehicle................So worth a try.............once you go in to Nats System you will see the option for read pin code.............give it a try............

         yes the maxiSys is capable of programming the keys for the most part, the procedure is as follow, go to nats and click on pin read  Example of pin read (d345a) this is then calculated by going here    http://keytechtools.com/bcmcodes/index1.php  enter your pin read there and you will get the pin code  which will be( 4928) old or( 9777) new . the old code works up to 2008 the new from 09 and up. after that go back to nats and choose c/u initialization , input code and turn key on,start the vehicle/press push button  and start the vehicle ,and your done.

    note 2004 zx, murano and maybe others may not give you the( pin read) option, in this case you have to( read it visually) from the bcm, then go to websited provided  above to generate the( pin code)    

    up to 2003 the code 5523 but no need to input the code, our tools does it automatically, from 2005 and up all vehicles has the pin read option from the tool.  good luck .

     Thanks guys, I was right there then wasn't sure what c/u initialization was, but when I clicked it it did have a4 digit there. Well lost few bucks in my pocket because didn't know and sent to another place. But very glad I know now!! Thanks again
