MaxiSys Pro was not able to scan Chevrolet Lumina 2004

    Yesterday, I tried to scan one Chevrolet Lumina 2004 with MaxiSys Pro using GM V7.10 and EOBD latest version but no success. VIN was not detected also. New GM version shows Lumina in 2014. Any suggestion? Thanks.

    Just select hoden is same lumina cars type

     I don't know what the 2004 lumina is doing there either, last year for the lumina was 2001, well usa lumina anyway, they may have continued productions elsewhere. I found the vin auto id to be missing on a 2004 saturn L300 also a bunch of other vehicles.  GM version 7.10 fixed a few things but there are a few issues with it that we did not have on version 6.0 so in other words we went backwards not forwards. I know with a few more hundred updates everything will be fine, unless of -course we need a few hundred more to fix the previous hundred. good luck with that.

       support i don't know  why you keep asking for vin numbers like this is related to one vehicle only. there are a bunch of them with the same issue, trust me on that without a vin number. if autel will concentrate on fixing our bugs only and stop updating model years  for now which is only creating more issues than anything else. before the 2015 model year release we were able to work on most vehicles without much issues, now  with all the new updates being release is messing up what took years to develop after so much work  from both autel and us. all this new updates do not make sense at all, you guys are turning this tool into a very ordinary scan tool which soon no one will want to buy or even update. please fix the model years we already have and stop releasing more bugs  it is destroying our faith in the tool.  why in the world would i want a 2015 and 2016 model year update  which i don't have  anyway to work on, and can not work on a 2003 that are everywhere to  be service, it makes no sense to me  at all, call me nuts if you must but i see all potentials slowly vanishing here. NO MORE  NEW UPDATES, PLEASE FIX THE ONES WE ALREADY HAVE. IF WE WANTED A GENERIC TOOL WE COULD HAVE BOUGHT SOMETHING ELSE.

     VIN is 1G1YK52B64L174468, Chevy Lumina 2004. This one from Australia, most probably Holden. Auto VIN was failed and even Manual VIN was not working also. I tried both USA and Asia Holden from MaxiSys but no success.

    I tried the combination of ScanXL and MaxiFlash Pro and found in communication log the "Protocol Error". I scanned other vehicles of the same brand "Lumina from Australia" and faced the same problem of no communication.

    The customer left to other workshop, came back and informed that the vehicle was scanned from the other workshop.

    @raheeb car, did you scan such models?

    Hello, this function Auto-Vin for Chevy Lumina hasn't been supported yet. V6.0 can't support too. This is the vehicle series we need to fulfill it in the future.
