Those Oil Level Sensor are very common faults on Vag cars at the same time the system is very intelligent and smart...............

1) Before you replace the oil level sensor you got to check if your bonnet warning light is working or not when you open the bonnet.......Because when you have low oil level warning light at the same time the Comfort Module is monitoring is the bonnet been opened to top up the oil or not.............Thats how the system works on Vag cars

So open the bonnet and look on your dash do you get bonnet open sign...........if not than check the bonnet switch and short those two pin plug and hopeful your oil light will go off..............
