this is not a question just a warning   i attempted to flash the dme on a 09 750li for a dme internal fault code. the dme flashed fine but for some reason it took out the module for steering wheel controls and windshield wipers along with traction control autel just acted dumbfounded like this had never happened and told me to take the car to the dealer  i thought this was the reason i bought the scanner so i dont have to send cars to the dealer i even purchased the extra adapter thats advertised for these specific models just be aware guys

Was it a new module that you flashed?

I did not replace any modules.    There were vanos codes high fuel pressure codes and. One code for dme internal fault. I figured. I would try to reflash to see if i could get the dme fault to go away before replacing it. The charger i used was a cornwell unit.  Mid c7100 on 40 amp charge.    The scanner voltage usually stayed about 13.8 and up the lowest i seen it at was 13.2  this could be the issue i suppose what power source are you guys using

i dont have much experience with flashing modules. One mystery to me is that i ony checked the box to flash the dme. Why would it mess with the window wipers and steering wheel buttons.   Thanks for your replys. My boss is sketch about me pullin my scanner out now

I would say check for internal shorts. See if sensors are getting reference voltage and try to see if ecm is fried, then find out why if it is before replacing with a new one

Voltage CLEAN STEADY VOLTAGE! Deutronic is a great power supply but $$$. BMW dealers use a brand called Power Max. Have a few of them.Work good cables could be better, Model is PMBC -75 there are smaller units but they struggle.Factory ista will not start till voltage is perfect. Autel has no warnings!

you did everything correctly i would not blame yourself something else happened the voltage did not dip low enough(under 13v i have inadvertently flashed at 11.8 and it worked ok) to cause a problem.

did you send a full log to support (although i wouldn't hold out to much hope im still waiting for an update on a bad coding flash file)

Hello, could you please execute a Auto-scan to collect the data and send us the datalog? And also you can try programming ABS system to have a try.
