If you just bought the MS908P and it still has the factory logos and older software versions , If it were me,  I think I would leave the software and everything on it as it came out of the box unregistered and no updating done until I hear good news about updates actually upgrading and adding more features instead of alleged downgrading. Talk is only Hearsay to me .until the people crying about it on the forum can post You tube videos showing  proof of downgrades other than the removal of factory logos .

  Forget it mate........!!! You will never get new unit supplied with old software............As they are all been down graded and Original Logs been removed before they supplied to any body...........No meter who is buying it....................
