Replaced ECM in 2012 Accord today with no problem. Maxisys had no issues with immo or vin change. Not sure if it matters or not but I'm using an older Honda software on my tablet.

I've found that using the im608 and xp400 is ideal for cloning the ecu. It's been the best
    option in such a case.
