DS708 DOES NOT COMMUNICATE ON GM VEHICLES AND NO START PROBLEM WHEN PLUGGED IN

     my autel ds708 will not communicate with any gm vehicles also any gm vehicle will not start when plugged in-I just perchased an update per autel rep and still have the same problem ??? HELP

    Won't communicate with a GM model older than 1996 model year(even if some 94 and 95 models have a 16 pin connector) 

    Maybe it's a cable problem even though cable seems pretty rugged. I thought the cable on mine was a little to short and very stiff and used the one off the  old  MT2500 red brick, that's a little longer and more flexible and also have a 18" cable extension with a sharp 90degree bend to keep adapter out of harms way.

    If it can't get communication with any GM vehicle, please check the cable first.

     non at all but will communicate with other vehicles ,changed cables no difference--joe usa tools--we sell a lot of these scanners--this is my personal one

     no as I don't work on them all the time ,it may be another week ,it says no communication with module ,says the same on any gm and any module,i tried redownloading my update to no avail,same thing --I need some help on this right away--thank you

     also I was on the phone with tech support all day 11-23-15 every half hour they sent me to voice mail--at least 10 times yesterday---

     I swear  I selected GM a few times in the past and I was not able to establish communication with the GM vehicle and when I exited I saw that the Chrysler logo  was highlighted ,not the GM logo I selected, LOL

    Sorry, have you uploaded the datalog? I tried to search your serial No.DS019Q001001, but there is not datalog under this SN.
