I have a 2002 VW Jetta, has power to the ignition coils but no spark.  changed cam sensor and crank sensor. The codes that im getting are two of them for cylinder misfire (which is obvious because there is no spark) one for a small leak, and the last one is the throttle peddle. What could be causing the no spark?

     Hi

The best way to help you is if you could tell us more about this vehicle...........

    1) When you saying you keep getting fault code for cylinder misfire means is the vehicle starting and running with misfiring........... Yes ? or, NO...
    2) The vehicle is non start............?
    3) If you could post all your fault codes here including fault codes in any other modules as well..........like for Instrument, Immobiliser System
    4) Your Engine Code and what cc Engine is
    5) Little bit of a story about this vehicle.....How did this problem started.......was any work done on it before this problem...............?
    6) Have you checked the Timing Belt if its OK........?

Like Ashraf said little more info would help. Make sure timing is correct!!! crank gear can spin on crank. Need to check from trans side timing mark. Seen older 2.0 lose engine computers with no ignition signal from not grounding the coil/igniter.

Thanks for replying guys, ok so these are all the codes
Passive/ Sporadic catalyst system bank 1 efficenty below threshold
passive/ sporadic throttle/ pedal position sensor 1/2 g79+G185 implausible signal
passive/ sporadic EMC/PCM power relay, control circuit open
passive/ sporadic Bank 1, sensor 1, internal resistance implausible
passive/ sporadic ign/ distributor eng. speed inp. circ no signal
Passive/ sporadic ban1, camshaft pos senor =G40, open circuit/ short circuit to B+

Again this is a no start, there is gas and enough compression and just no spark, there is power to the coils just not creating any spark. Changed the cam shaft and crank shaft position sensors didnt change anything, and the time is correct. before it wasn't giving me the last two codes then i grounded the ground better and the last two codes popped up.  Could it be that the new camshaft position sensor some how went bad again?

Check the (GROUND) brown fat wire on the ignition coil most needs to get rewired to a separate ground.
The coil brown wire is grounded to the center of the firewall.
