     Honda srs code, what does permanent signify
    eg: 225-17 permanent
    226-17 permanent
    42-11. No signal from right front impact sensor. permanent

    Sorry I need to correct my reply here:
    Permanent code means hard fault. If you do have permanent codes they will always remain until the ECU can verify that the problem no longer exists. Clearing codes will only remove the Pending and Stored codes. 

    Also a hard fault will always reappear either immediately or shortly after clearing codes.

    You can check [the wiring connections also measure the component for Resistance.
