     Santa brought me a MaxiDiag Elite Scan Tool.  Nowhere can I find which particular model it is, not on the unit, in the manual, on the CD, nowhere.  They all seem to look the same in this series.  Can anyone help me identify which one I have?  Thanks

    Hi, please turn on the tool and go to Setting - About menu then you'll know the particular model it is. Or you may advise me the S/N on the back of the device and I will check it for you here. Thanks!

     No mention of model in "About".  The S/N is:  MD8315001675   I've read there are counterfeits floating around.  How would I know?  Thanks for your help.

     Also, may I trouble you for some additional help?  Once I learn the model of the unit I have, I'd like to download the latest updates.  I understand I have a year subscription to do so.?  When I navigate to the "Support and Updates" section, I see a number of available updates, but it's not clear to me which ones, if any, would apply to the unit I have from the descriptions and pictures shown.

     Hi, according to your serial number, we can tell that it is a MD802 with all systems. It is true that you it has one-year free update. Please refer to the atachment is this link for update instruction: http://pro.auteltech.com/autelsupport/FAQ/16929.jhtml?logoTypeId=1122&typeName=FAQ.

     I've registered my product, and clicked "PC Suite".  I find 8 downloads available, 7 of which are dated 2013.  My product manufacture year is 2015.  Can you clarify please?

    Hi, please login Autel website and download PC Suite V6.34. You only need to download the update via PC Suite. It will not effect the software of the tool. Please try. Thanks!
