     hello,
has anyone ever changed an automatic gearbox ecu on a VW GOLF 2009 1.9L please? I am trying to code it but it will not allow me as the coding option is not available on the 02. Transmission option.

    Any idea please

Can you communicate with your old module..................? if yes copy the coding from there and write it on your new module.........

The old ecu has an internal short circuit and so the supply fuse gets burnt as soon as it
is replaced. Also if I can copy it, I cannot enter in the transmission coding. I can only
    view the transmission ecm informotion

Hi, Maxisys Pro can support transmission coding on this car. Can you please upload a data log for our engineers to check the problem? Thanks!

Hi, please check the training video via below link of how to upload data log from Maxisys. It's better you can send us the whole scan history beginning from entering the vehicle software till the end of the function. Thanks!

From what I read , it sounds like you are trying to put a used module from an 02 and program it to work as an 09.I don't believe it would have that range of model year coverage for any ECU

Hi, this is a brand new ECU from the dealer. This is what I am finding strange
personaly. What is also strange is that all other ecu's are having a fault stating tnat
there os no communication with the transmission ecu while the transmission ecu is
    howing no fault

A shorted data bus or an open ground that makes unwanted current take an undesirable path to ground through a path it normally would not take could blow fuses and prevent communication too.
