I have GM version 10 on my DS 708 with expired subscription from 2014 and from what I recall is that GM version 10 does not autoscan for me either but if I manually select a specific module it usually communicates. Not sure , but I think GM version 10 lost the autoscan capability on the DS 708 around the same time frame Maxisy lost the GM programming capabilities.
Like I said before, if all the manufacturer's software and functions worked perfectly when our update subscriptions expired, there would be no reason to buy a new update for most of us working on cars newer than 3 years old until we absolutely need the newer model car coverage.
By artificially having at least one major car manufacturer's software version go into the toilet at any given time while someone's update sub expires and later patching up the worst of it and adding a few new models of new model car coverage and calling it a new update version, you are creating incentive for folk that work on that line of cars to ante up for purchasing another year of updates. LMFAO, Sorry, but Homey don't play dat game.
