why can't I reset the oil service/inspection light on a BMW E36 325i? using maxidas DS708

     as the title states. I can't reset the oil service light or inspection light with the maxidas DS708. it has updated software. It used to reset the light no problem but since the update it will not. anyone know of any work a rounds?

    Which Diagnostic plug are you using 16 pin one or, the old type round one in engine bay...............?

     the round 16 pin plug. it is a 94. no OBD II

    Hi, there should be a 20pin connector on this car near engine. Please check and use that connector to try again. If it still cannot reset then please try to reset the oil service / inspection light manually. Thanks!
