I been having a lots of issues with Dodge and Chrysler cars mostly on CAN Systems cars (2005 and up)

When trying to do the PCM replacement option on this vehicles, instead of writing the SKIM/WCM VIN to PCM, it will write the PCM VIN to SKIM/WCM wich causes faults on ABS and SRS due to VIN Mismatch, I could correct that issues doing ABS Re-calibration but the problem is that if car goes to emissions test it wil NOT pass becauseVIN on PCM and CHASSIS would not match and needs to be send to Level 2 Inspection, wich mostly is for salvage/restored vehicles.

    Is anyone having same problems?

We have checked the related funcion - PCM replacement, but there is no such problem you mentioned. May we know your serial No. this vehicle VIN code and also your enter path of this function?

If you want to replace both the ECU and the WIN, you have to leave the original WIN installed and replace the new ECU, then program VIN.
If you are just replacing the ECU, it is as simple as writing in the new vin number. The ABS module will still keep the vehicle's original VIN, which you programed on the new ECU.

2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee.  I'm about to replace my PCM.  Alldata says to disconnect the ABS controller first, install the PCM, write the VIN to the PCM with the scantool, then connect the ABS controller.  I'll let you know how that process works.
