Freeze Frame data can (mostly) be obtained by EOBD and goes with the fault codes. It tells what the status was of several important parameters (sensor data) at that point in time when the dtc / fault code was detected and set by the ECM.

I don't see what a vechicle warranty company can or want to do with it to be honest.
