Hi I'm having issues communicating with early nissans with my upto date Maxisys. No code reading or live data available. It just comes back saying check etc....... like I've selected the wrong model. The lastest was a 1998 Mistral which only had one option and I've had the same issue on other early nissans. Have tried a new plug, another maxisys and have datalogged. I have also used a DS708 which communicated fine.

i think you will find it is just too old to work autel has a habit of dropping older vehicles support..

Thanks for the information. We know this issue well. Actually, DS708 really does better on old nissan cars than Maxisys 908. But from other newer cars, MS908 is more functional then DS708, no question about it.

thats because the DS708 was an earlier tool and no more development so the older stuff works but the DS908 is a newer tool and they dropped the older vehicles..
