      I have an AL419 unit and trying to update software but file downloads are a *.rar type file and software needs *.bin file. How do I proceed to sucessfully update software?

    .rar file is compressed file type. You need to uncompress it, and you will see two files - .bin and .aut.

     AL419 - unable to register new purchase product, as this is not in drop down list to select for warranty registration!! Come on guys what going on, if you sell a product update your web site.

    Also downloaded zip files for AL419 but would not open unzip in Windows 10, so I download 7-Zip free and extracted the two files, then did download of latest software. I don't know if it made any difference as no real good message to say what it exactly updated. Only UPDATE DONE.
    Make sure you update 2 files using the AutoLink icon software.

    AL419 doesn't need to be registered in our website. The updating pack can be downloaded from our website directly. From your description, you have updted it successfully.

    All our products without registration are updated via MaxiLinkII.
