Hi, the basic setting of G85 on this car is in 44-power steering and the access code is 19249.

Basic setting steps are as below:

Prerequisite: Start the engine and turn the steering wheel one turn to the right and one turn to the left to make sure that the steering wheel is straight with the vehicle wheels pointed straight.

Enter security code 19249 to enable the basic setting. Then Basic Settings 04 – Group 060 to activate the Basic Settings. After a successful basic setting, field 3 in live data should show “OK”.

After that start the vehicle and turn the steering wheel completely to the left and hold it there for 1 second. Then turn steering wheel completely to the right and hold it there for 1 second. To make sure the basic setting was successful, go back to check the sensor again: 08 – Group 004 and Field 1 should show -1.5o~+1.5o.

At the end, please go ahead to clear the DTCs. Thanks!

Hi, thank you for all those informations. Today, i try to make the basic setting exactly
as you have told me, but i still have the same error message code 7F 31 33. When
enter the security code 19249 or 0000019249, i can read successful connection but
then the basic setting fails. What's wrong?how manydigits di i enter it? Should i put
    zeros?

Hi, the security code is 19249. If you don't login successfully then there will be error message code 7F 31 33 and you cannot do basic setting.

If you login successfully then please do not exit otherwise you'll need to login again. If the basic setting failed the first time and you need to do it again then please login again. Every time when you need to do basic setting, you'll have to login with security code.

If you cannot get the basic setting done, then please upload a data log for engineers to check. Thanks!

    Hi, please try below steps:
    1. Please access 44 Steering Assistance system, security login, then enter security code 19249. Before accessing basic settings, turn the steering wheel one turn to the right and one turn to the left to make sure that the steering wheel is straight with the vehicle wheels pointed straight.
    2. Access basic settings and select steering angle sensor; then click at “Start” and it will show that it has been calibrated((When turning the steering wheel, please select live data monitor to check its prerequisites and calibration status. Its prerequisites need to be met before doing calibration ).
    3. At the meantime, Steering wheel fault light and Anti-Slip lamp are lit up.
    4. Turn the steering wheel one turn to the left and turn it one turn to the right to make sure that the steering wheel is straight with the vehicle wheels pointed straight( after this fault light and Anti-Slip lamp light are off). G85 steering sensor has been calibrated.
    5. Then you just need to do drive test and try to erase codes.

Hi, security login is needed each time when we do basic settings. Once failed to basic settings, if you need to do it again, you need to do security login first. When you try to do basic settings, please make sure that all the prerequisites are met (Click “prerequisites of basic settings” in live data to check if all the prerequisites are met). Or else, basic settings would not be successful. Thanks!
