Ive tried before to scan a 2000 yr trooper with a friends ds 708 and it would not communicate  troopers are notorious  for being awkward  to scan I ended up buying a tech 2 (dealer tool clone) and it performs perfect, scans, programs, live data. Troopers are complicated and a tech2 helps to point to problems especially  the live data function, I have a trooper and tech2 has been excellent  in helping to keep it running properly
