Won't access as an 04 or 05 Ram

Everytime I access the scanner as an 04 or 05 Ram it kicks it back to up to 03. The only thing support has suggested has been to delete Chrysler Dodge and Jeep software off the scanner and reload it. Which did not help, then it was to send it in for repair. Anyone else have this problem accessing Ram's as an 04 or 05? -

You may have a fault in the core app. IF (and ONLY IF) you are within your update period, I would do a quick format in windows of the SD card (or a new SD card), Then update, Only install the system program and the Chrysler module and re-test. If it fails then, I would test with a different cable, and Chrysler 16 adapter. If that fails send it in and let them replace it for you. These cables do fail, I keep 2 spares on hand. Also, you are using the Chrysler 16 adapter right?Thx. -

Hello, it is normal. Some vehicles are linked to "Up to 03", you can go ahead to test it. -

Tried it with and without the adapter. The unit was purchased only 2 months ago. I will probably have to send it in. I'm pretty savvy when it comes to electronics and computer usage. But I really don't want to mess with it, being we only bought this for the shop so shortly ago. -

Seriously? That kinda sucks if it is "normal" cause I really needed to test the Injectors on the diesel I have been working on. Oh Well
