I doubt it. I have a DS 708 and used it on a lot of GM products and never saw an option for changing the speed limiter. Maybe a rodent climbed in the muffler , made a nest in there  and stored a bunch of feed corn that popped up and plugging the exhaust.LMAO. I did see an old You Tube vid where some kid raises the speed limiter on his Daddy's  Mercedes Benz with a Maxi Sys Pro back when tool  used to do more hack functions.
