How do one know the right update that is not beneficial to one device and if so is it
possible to downgrade back to the old version

No scan tool or key programing device can program rx300 onbard because it is a 4c
transponder if they put it there I think is an error so they now realized it and remove it -

I will like to mention all the functions I lost as well, but on the last update I lost the scanner too ,completely to a bad update which took it out of commission for good lol. you will need a special tool anyway to do a 4c transponder so you lost nothing when you think about it, it was there for looks.
