on most fords  all you need  is a   tpms tool  like the ts404  ts501    to activate the sensors   after  you put the car truck     in relearn mode

Once you relearn it, you need to use TPMS tool to activate the sensor. So for TPMS function, it is suggested you refer to the specialized tool- like TS501, TS601 to do it.

RLAFFECT is correct you need to enter training mode first by key-off press and release brake pedal once then cycle key from off to run three times ending in the run position then step on brake pedal once again and cycle key off then repeat three key cycles ending in the run position at this time you'll hear the horn chirp once now it's in training mode. Basic TPM tool that can activate sensors (force transmission) from sensors needed at this point. Now go around the vehicle starting with L/frt then R/frt,then R/rear and finally L/rear the horn will chirp each time you successfully activate each wheel that's all there is to it only takes a few minutes but be sure to read the placard pressures first as front and rear different on E vans not sure about F trucks so be sure properly inflated first.
