    On a 2003 fiat Punto, using a MS509, with an air bag light on, what is the procedure to turn off the light. There is no recorded fault code to erase.

    MS509 is a basic OBDII code reader, which means it only reads emission-related codes. I don't think it can read the Airbag system. So if MS509 did not show any codes, it does not mean there is no codes in airbag system.
