I have a Maxidiag fr704 Which I bought about a year ago,however since reloading my pc,the pclink software will not install,instead giving me the following message...."unfortunately the process was interrupted before it finished....Your software has not been installed"....What can I do please?.....The software in question is pclink 1.2,and my system is windows 7 ultimate -

hi. try switching off all your virus/firewall etc........then try again. -

Tried that...and various compatability modes too...but thanks for thinking anyway -

It is your Win7 system.This model is pretty old, so the CD software is only compatible with WinXP. -

OK Thanks for that....Tried compatability mode for xp to no avail.....will it run in a virtual machine Please?
