I have the mentioned car in the shop with a leaking air spring.  i have replaced the left rear air spring only to get a trouble code d76d61.  this code is for the left rear damper invalid.  my question is do i need to recode air spring to control module or am I having issues else where.  i cannot find any definitive information on this code.  service procedure does not say you have to recode just install and perform refilling of bellows whicc i have done.  Any help would be appreciated.

Each spring has it's own height sensor , so maybe one has  erratic readings or there is a wiring issue.

If the rear air spring comes with the new height sensor incorporated into it there likely be some zeroing procedure required.
