I have a DS 708 with old 2014 software and logos. The Honda V7.00 software takes a long time to load , but I went into Body electrical and found that it listed the functions and menu of a list of service resets including one for oil life reset , but when I selected oil life reset. It gave me  a message that the function is not supported in Honda Software.
  Wondering if the simple function was fixed and works with Maxisys or other scanner or just something that is only done manually  by a trip meter reset button, like method used in  you tube video that I reset it without a scanner.
 On the positive side, I was able to view past service history with mileage of past service resets
