could the maxisys pro program a volkswagen golf ecm

     I have a maxisys pro and I wanna know if could program a new ecm on a 2001 Volkswagen golf , in other words is it possible

     Don't think it can.

    We do seem to have programming functions available now, but to be honest I don't really know or programming a new ecu comes with the new functions. You should send an email to Autel to verify before trying anything.

    This forum will not give you 100% certain answer on this I guess. Most profs use other tools for things like this. You could create an account with VW and do it online using the PassThru though, that should (!) work fine
