Im getting this error when trying to connect to 2003 chev 6l engine data??  it connects for 2 seconds then drops out over and over again.  I tried the tool on a 1998 chev 5.7 and have no problem.  what am i doing wrong.  I seem to have a #6 cylinder misfire,  but I only know that by looking at the 2 second data burst,  I think I need to change the coil.  plugs and wires already changed.  This sucks I bought this Autel 708 specifically for this problem and this is the first time Ive used it,... CRAP MAN  how disappointing.

Your Live Data is dropping out? Perhaps there is a bug with the 6.0l engine data stream, try selecting the 5.3l or 5.7l engine (same year) on your 2003 6.0l and see if live stream is viewable.

Hi Benchmark, are you able to pull codes from all the controllers? If so, what are they? I doubt you have a problem with the data line but knowing if you can talk to all the controllers in the vehicle would go a long way in figuring that out.

Can you talk to the other controllers? Do you have a data stream from them? It must be something with the vehicle if you have no trouble with other Chevy V8`s
How about this, check pins 4 and 5 of the DLC.They should be ground. If you have no ground on one of them, that is your problem.Still post back the results from the data stream in other controllers ,like ABS, SRS, Body module.
