I tried to restore the original GM and Ford logos by deleting all the later versions , but no original factory logo will show up in those 2 car makes box and then it shows that you need to update the 2 car makes of software all over again.Think you have to just settle on silver lettering. Sure hope deleting the generic button symbols and restoring older logos doesn't delete any access to newer software functions.My opinion is it be best to  leave the second from oldest version logos (slightly modified from factory original logos)be , otherwise you might see blank squares and have updates notices  to download redundant software again.
